So, the secret reason I devoted several weeks to cleaning the attic: a new little work area. All of this cost precisely zero dollars. The TV, stool, rug, and storage drawers were sitting around, unused. The workbench was made from similarly sitting-around wood scraps. Oh, and I have a lot of canvases that I finally was able to move out of my closet (apparently that place is just for storing clothes?). I will eventually spring for some pegboard and shelving for that wall. Also, maybe a space heater.
Because you asked: I’m watching 30 Rock on my laptop rather than my TV because the circuits in the attic are not designed to power anything but lights, so I don’t want to plug a TV into it until they’re replaced (it would be a long walk to re-set the breaker). Thus, laptop.
[I pixelated the in-progress painting because you bums aren’t allowed to look at it, yet.]
