It’s an excellent article but hey: they presented men as a couch in that one ad, too (which really made any perceived sexism seem silly). That’s in addition to men being portrayed as stupid and simple-minded in just about every commercial ever (Super Bowl or otherwise). So yeah, MISANDRY! Look that word up.
Oh, and most egregiously: Volkswagen dragged the Mos Eisley Cantina (including Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, and Darth Vader) into that one commercial about a dog losing weight — that was Star Warsism. And I won’t stand for that.
