One of my 2009 Pledges was to watch at least one movie I had never seen before, every week (whether new in theaters or new to my brain) or, at the least, just 52 new movies this year. One by one, all day.

This is the constantly-updated post to keep track. Some of them will be considered 2008 releases (see: asterisks) and so, as I see those, they will be tenderly slipped into my ranked list of 2008 movies. Others will just be movies from the past that I never ended up seeing (i.e., they will not be viewed in a theater).
