So many good moments in this scene. Particularly with Dwight, who is still easily the funniest character on the show.
- The fact that he is so serious about performing a pantomimed removal of the organs, because he clearly believes that THAT demonstration would be as-valuable as the one being conducted by the licensed CPR professional.
- The fact that he was clearly hoping to get a chance to cut the dummy open, even before Michael decides to improvise the fact that the dummy is an organ donor (Dwight’s doglike obedience to anything Michael says is also never not-funny).
- The fact that, when everyone’s attention is elsewhere, Dwight suddenly reverts to the other, goofier half of his personality and, for fun/personal reasons, decides to just cut off the dummy’s face simply to reenact Silence of the Lambs. His later rationale for doing so (“I didn’t think it was very realistic in the movie, and… it turns out, it’s pretty realistic”) only serves to make it funnier, as it makes you think he’s thought about this for years and has been anxious for an opportunity to test it out.
- The fact that he has a huge hunting knife strapped to his leg. Of course he does.
