Snapped this today while driving. I feel like I take too many pictures while driving. Anyway, I didn’t fiddle with the focus enough beforehand so it paid too much attention to the windshield and the rain. It ended up kinda cool-looking; like a shot from a Sofia Coppola picture. Also: the license plate on that pick-up truck said “9-11-001”. I don’t understand why anyone would do that. What’s his endgame? What’s the message he’s trying to communicate?

I snapped this while driving to Norfolk. I don’t know why I did it and I fully expected it to turn out looking like a big bag of crap but the blur and the lights work together, somehow. Fun fact: I’ve never been to Elizabeth City. Even though it’s like one hour south of The ‘Peake and it’s mentioned prominently on several highway signs around here… I’ve never set foot in that city.

I went to the ODU-UNCW game tonight. It was not close (face!). So I figured out a cool new camera technique where I violently rotate the camera while clicking the button. One small section stays in focus (relatively) but everywhere else blurs in a circle. Rocking.

It’s the letter B, written in lights. This is a manipulated picture of my car radio. I’ve learned how to use the weird squiggly glitch on my camera. Now you’re all going to pay.

I drove down to the Border Station after eating tonight to see if they had any cool t-shirts or goodies. They didn’t, really. But I did decide to pull over at the border and take a picture of a sign I should have stolen and hung in my bedroom, years ago.

It is cold outside. To emphasize this, I duplicated my course heading, the warning of ICE on the thermometer, and the temperature readout within the camera-taking instant (not true — for the billionth time, I produce a cool effect with my cheap camera without beginning to understand my power).
Note: the thermometer on my bedroom window now says “14” so… trust no one.
